United Phosphorus (Bangladesh) Ltd was incorporated in Bangladesh in 1992 as a joint venture with United Phosphorus Ltd India with holding of 50% of Global UPL chain. It is a leading global producer of crop production chemicals, intermediaries, specialty chemicals, and other agricultural chemicals.
United phosphorus (Bangladesh) has its presence across value added agri inputs ranging from seeds to crop protection and post harvest activity. Being the largest manufacturer of agro chemicals we offer a wide range of products that includes Insecticides, Fungicides, Herbicides, Fumigants,PGR, and Rodeninticides, We operate in every continent and have customer base in 86 countries, making us global player of crop protection product in the world as well as in Bangladesh. The company ranks amongst the top 5 post-patent agrochemical manufacturer in the world.

Increasing population and consumptions are major challenges and threat for day’s ahead.

A large number of people have not adequate incomes to maintain a subsistence level of livelihood consumption. Lack of proper education and consciousness farmers still process their land and crops in a traditional way. So our motto is to bring these technologies and product to our country and disseminate to our farmers level through marketing set up to all the villages of Bangladesh.

We are marketing world class pesticides. We have strong networks and marketing set up in all over Bangladesh having more than 170 distributors and 506retail outlets in the entire village markets agriculture sector. We have 10Regional offices in different places in Bangladesh. Every Regional office controlled by a Regional Manager. Every Regional Manager has a marketing team and the entire marketing process will be supervised by Central Marketing Manger (Head office).

Our aim is to build successful long term relation with customers, to understand their needs and deliver real performance in use benefits. As a reliable and dynamic partner our areas of expertise cover registration, manufacture and formulation, technical support and marketing. This concern is designed into UPBL’s processes and manufacturing plants at he outset to minimize effluents and energy use. Effluent is treated on site wherever possible to ensure high standard set are not compromised by operators outside UPBL’s control.
